Την πρώτη τους δημόσια εμφάνιση έκαναν ο Geoge και η Amal Clooney στο φεστιβάλ της Βενετίας, μετά την γέννηση των δίδυμων παιδιών τους, του Alexander και της Ella με αφορμή την παρουσίαση της ταινίας «Suburbicon» σε σκηνοθεσία George Clooney και σενάριο των αδελφών Κοέν.

Η Amal έκλεψε τις εντυπώσεις με την εμφάνισή της, αφού τίποτα πάνω της δεν θύμιζε ότι περίπου πριν από τρεις μήνες γέννησε. Η κυρία Clooney επέλεξε μια άκρως εντυπωσιακή τουαλέτα με την υπογραφή του οίκου Versace σε lilac απόχρωση ενώ ο χολιγουντιανός ηθοποιός ένα μαύρο, κομψό tuxedo.

Το faux bob χτένισμα της Amal, ήταν μια εξαιρετική επιλογή και συνοδεύτηκε από dramatic make up που επιμελήθηκε η Charlotte Tilbury.
